More Information

There's a limited amount of information available about Studio Partners, LLC, Makelo Entertainment, and those that were connected with these companies.  However,  listed below maybe some useful bits of information that I have gathered over the last several months.

Evan (Keith?) Harris

I don't have a lot of information on Evan Harris.  The information that he gave about himself on the Makelo site is relatively sketchy (and probably deliberately so).  I met with him once and spoke on the phone one time with him.  The one time I met with him, in the Spring of 2003 at the Studio Partners office, he seemed somewhat magnanimous, but extremely confident.  Our phone conversation, about 2 years later, didn't go so well.  He was very blunt and somewhat rude.  He basically let me know that I should let them do their job and stop bothering them.  This was not very good investor relations.

The Nevada incorporation documentation lists a "Matt Longo" and "Keith Harris" as the company principals.  Is "Keith Harris" the real name of Evan Harris?  It could be.  Is this significant since various legal documentation was all signed with "Evan Harris" for Studio Partners?  I'm not sure, but it would likely end up being a point brought up in any legal proceedings in addition to a litany of other charges (civil and criminal).

He was executive producer of "Absolutely 100% Guilty" which was a television series about O.J. Simpson.

Matt Longo

Matt is the one person who I thought was the real deal.  He seemed extremely personable and willing to talk.  He had his hand in many different ventures, some of which can be seen in his overview that was on the Makelo site.  One of the companies that he listed ties with was Jugular, Inc Although, I had a phone conversation with the owner/principal of Jugular and he stated that the only contact he had with Matt was when Matt was looking for investors to help with Jugular's funding (and that company seems to be doing fine).

I have reason to believe that Matt's real name is Matthew K. Longo.  Please contact me so I can discuss why I believe this is so and what good may come of this information.  His middle name maybe something like Keith or Kenneth. Why would I say that?  Take a look a the bizarre name of the Makelo Entertainment company.  MA=Matt KE=Keith? LO=Longo   This is just a guess, though.

I had phone conversations on occassion with him on his cell phone up until early 2005.  After that, all my calls went to voicemail and if he responded, he responded to me via e-mail.  That seemed pretty cagey to me that he refuse to talk in person to me any more.  By the Summer of 2005, he disconnected his cell phone.  At the same time, the Studio Partners phone lines were disconnected as well.  His e-mail (which may still be working) is MattLongo@hotmail.com.  I doubt he'll respond to anyone in regard to Studio Partners, though.  My last e-mail communication with him was September of 2005.

He was an associate producer of a movie called Totally Blonde (2005).

Others

It takes a lot of people to make a company like Studio Partners (and Makelo Entertainment) tick.  There were probably a number of agents who helped with the selling of units of the company to various investors.  I believe seeing somewhere that there are about three dozen Studio Partners investors out there.  I don't think these agents share in the culpability of what happened to the company.  I understand that the agents, just like the principals, largely disappeared and disconnected their phones.  However, if any of them can be contacted they might help provide clues as to the current whereabouts of Matt and Evan.
